Date & Time: Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. / Buncombe County Bldg. Officials Board Room, 30 Valley St., Asheville, NC 28801.
A visit to the site will take place immediately following the Pre-Bid Meeting. While the Pre-Bid Meeting is not mandatory, all General Contractors are encouraged to be represented at the meeting.

Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.
The work of this project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but not limited to, the following scope: All labor, taxes, materials, equipment, services, permits, incidental and implied, to install a complete working system as designed. The work consists of a one-story EMS Station approx. 12,214 sf to include apparatus bays, support areas, office space, triage area, and residential facilities for personnel. Site work including new parking lot with front and rear drives for EMS apparatus.
Hickory Construction Company, Hickory, NC is seeking subcontractors for a specific trade that covers the work described below.
Division 01 – General Requirements, Division 02 – Existing Conditions, Division 03 – Concrete, Division 04 – Masonry, Division 05 – Metals, Division 06 – Wood, Plastics and Composites, Division 07 – Thermal and Moisture Protection, Division 08 – Openings, Division 09 – Finishes, Division 10 – Specialties, Division 12 – Furnishings, Division 21 – Fire Suppression, Division 22 – Plumbing, Division 23 – Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Division 26 – Electrical, Division 27 – Communications, Division 28 – Electronic Safety and Security, Division 31 – Earthwork, Division 32 – Exterior Improvements, Division 33 – Utilities, and any other division scope of work identified in the contract documents.
