MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE/LOCATION:

The purpose of the mandatory conference and site visit is for prospective Contractors to apprise themselves of the conditions and requirements that will affect the performance of work called for in the Bid Documents. Any Bidders who are not present by 2:00 p.m. will not be able to participate in the pre-bid conference.

Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.
The work of this project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but not limited to, the following scope: All labor, taxes, materials, equipment, services, permits, incidental and implied, to install a complete working system as designed. The project consists of interior, exterior and site renovations of the existing building that will become Catawba Agricultural Resource Center and Catawba Education Center to accommodate the several Catawba County Agricultural Resource departments and an Education Center.
Hickory Construction Company, Hickory, NC is seeking subcontractors for a specific trade that covers the work described below.
Division 01 – General Requirements, Division 02 – Existing Conditions, Division 03 – Concrete, Division 04 – Masonry, Division 05 – Metals, Division 06 – Wood, Plastics and Composites, Division 07 – Thermal and Moisture Protection, Division 08 – Openings, Division 09 – Finishes, Division 10 – Specialties, Division 12 – Furnishings, Division 21 – Fire Suppression, Division 22 – Plumbing, Division 23 – Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Division 26 – Electrical, Division 27 – AV Equipment List, Division 31 – Earthwork, Division 32 – Exterior Improvements, Division 33 – Utilities, and any other division scope of work identified in the contract documents.
