Project Scope Includes (but is not limited to) :

  • Construction of a new Coarse Screen and Grit Removal Facility (CSGF), a Twelve (12) MG Equalization (EQ) storage facility and associated pump station.
  • Construction of two (2) new electrical buildings to service the new CSGF and EQ Facility.
  • Modifications to the Fine Screen influent structure and Fine Screen effluent structure.
  • Improvements to the existing influent pump station.
  • Improvements to existing yard piping, electrical duct banks and structures, grading, paving and drainage improvements.
  • Demolition of two (2) existing aerated grit facilities, junction boxes, bar screen structure, and yard piping as well as multiple utility relocations.

Contract Time: substantially complete within 1220 calendar days and fully complete 1280 calendar days from contract commencement


MATERIALS, SUBCONTRACTORS AND SERVICES SOUGHT
– General:
 Temporary construction facilities & services, Materials Testing, Surveying & as-builts, temporary pumping,
– Earthwork: earthwork, aggregates, geotextiles, clearing, grubbing and site prep, dewatering, erosion and sediment control, steel sheet piling, drilled piers.
– Demolition: asphalt, pavement, building and select utilities. Phased Demo.
– Metals: Guards and railing, structural steel rebar, rebar placement, ladders, metal stairs, metal fabrication.
– Wood and Plastics: Rough carpentry, glass fiber and resin fabrication
– Thermal and Moisture Protection: 
dampproofing, crystalline water proofing, water repellants, building insulation, standing seam metal roofing and wall panels, firestopping.
– Concrete: Flatwork and curbs, CIP, precast concrete utility buildings, grout
– Masonry: mortar, unit masonry
–  Openings: steel doors and frames, fiberglass windows and frames, roll-up doors, aluminum windows and frames, glass and glazing.
– Finishes: Painting and Polyurethane MIC coatings
– Specialties: Identifying devices, fire extinguishers
– Specialty Construction: Aluminum Flat Covers
– Specialty Equipment: cranes and hoists
– Plumbing: plumbing and piping insulation, facility fuel piping, facility water dist. piping, domestic water, sanitary waste and vent piping, storm drainage, plumbing fixtures, electric water heater.
– HVAC: insulation, Automatic temperature controls, refrigerant piping, ducts, fans, Flexible water tube condensing water heaters, gas fired unit heaters, split system AC, electric-resistant air coils. 
– Electrical: 
low voltage, fire alarm system, facility lighting/protection
– Exterior improvements: paving and surfacing, surface restoration, steel fencing, final grading and landscaping, seeding
– Utilities: 
Prestressed concrete cylinder pipe, utility structures, storm drains and roof drains, underground electrical
– Process Interconnections: copper pipe, DIP, stainless steel pipe, steel pipe, Valves and gates, valve and gate actuators, Fabricated stainless steel slide gates, gate valves, eccentric plug valves, ball valves, check valves, fire, wall and yard hydrants, automatic backwash strainer, heat tracing systems, insulation, process control systems, field testing, operator interface terminals, level switches, magnetic flow meters, pressure and differential pressure gauges, radar level meters, submersible level sensors, ammonium analyzers, single point gas monitoring system, isolators, intrinsically-safe barriers and surge suppressors
– Process Gas and Liquid Handling, Purification, and Storage Equipment: pumps, horizontal recessed impeller pumps, submersible solids-handling pumps and rehabilitation
-Water and Wastewater Equipment: automatic refrigerated samplers, Multi Rake Bar Screens and Screenings Handling Equipment, Stacked Tray Grit Removal Equipment, Grit Cyclones and Classifiers, high speed submersible mixers, tipping buckets, screw conveyors
– Building: CMU, turnkey sub.

Thalle will negotiate fairly with interested DBE firms & will not reject firms as unqualified without sound reasons-based on capabilities.
