Work includes the following trades: Pipe Work, Sewer, Utilities, Concrete Work, Video Surveillance, Hazardous Material Abatement, Stone, Seeding, Mulching, Earthwork, Clearing & Grubbing, Hauling, Erosion Control, Traffic Control Signs, Site Prep / Site Grading, Finishes, Demolition, Geo-Textile, Fencing/Gates, Quality Control, Rip-Rap, Excavation, Photographic Documentation, Dewatering, Bore & Jack, Temp. Construction Entrance, Rock Excavation and any incidentals and materials necessary for construction to complete the project.

 

The Work to be performed under these Contract Documents is generally described as follows: Construction of approximately 13,000 LF of 36-inch sanitary sewer outfall, 3,000 LF of sanitary sewer collectors ranging in size from 8-inches to 18-inches, 73 manholes, 680 LF of 54-inch steel casing via bore and jack (4 NCDOT road crossings), 1 PNG gas easement crossing via open cut, various temporary stream crossings via bore and jack or pump-around, groundwater dewatering for excavation, sewer bypass pumping, abandonment of existing sanitary sewers and manholes as designated, and other related appurtenances. The project corridor spans between Old Lexington Rd (NC SR 2743) and Willard Rd (NC SR 2700) along Fiddlers Creek in Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina.

Bonding:

It is Jimmy R. Lynch & Sons, Inc. policy NOT to require M/WBE subcontractors to provide bonding to Jimmy R. Lynch & Sons, Inc. for their portion of the work. All M/WBE subcontractors will be allowed to work under Jimmy R. Lynch & Sons, Inc. Performance & Payment Bonds to the Owner.

Financial Assistance:

Jimmy R. Lynch & Sons, Inc. will provide Joint Check Agreements to all M/WBE subcontractors. Please request a Joint Check agreement in writing if needed and Jimmy R. Lynch & Sons, Inc. will work with you and the material vendor to develop a Joint Check Agreement to satisfy all parties. 

Quick Payments:

It is Jimmy R. Lynch & Sons, Inc. policy to provide Quick Payments if needed to all M/WBE subcontractors. Jimmy R Lynch & Sons, Inc. will provide payment to all M/WBE subcontractors on a weekly and/or monthly basis if the work for which payment is being requested is complete and accepted by the City of Winston-Salem
