North Charleston, SC – Felix C. Davis Wastewater Treatment Plant – Access Hatch Replacements

North Charleston Sewer District is seeking to remove and replace eleven (11) existing floor access hatches at six (6) structures within the Felix C. Davis WWTP located at 1000 Herbert Street, North Charleston, SC. Structure locations include the Main Sewage Pump Station, Plant Water Pump Station, Secondary Gallery, Blended Sludge Storage Building, Dewatering Building, and Sludge Thickener Building. These structures were originally constructed from the mid to late 1960’s to the mid to late 1980’s. The existing hatches are installed in structural floor slabs consisting of reinforced cast-in-place concrete. The goal of this project is to remove and replace the existing floor access hatches with new stainless steel (Type 316) floor access hatches.

Purchase of entire bid set includes all plans and specifications, including any addenda released at time of order. Planholders will be notified by email when future addenda are issued and it will be the responsibility of each plan holder to download the addenda. Shipping, if required, will be charged to each order.

ADDENDA DISTRIBUTION

Existing planholders will be notified by email upon the release of any addenda. Failure to order bid sets through Duncan-Parnell may prevent you from being notified of issued addenda. Printed copies of addendum will be available at no additional charge. Shipping, if required will be charged. Contact your local Duncan-Parnell office to request a printed set of addenda files.
