We are interested in receiving your quotations on this project for any work for which your company is qualified and especially for the following types of work: Hauling, Grading, Drainage, Asphalt Paving, Safety and Hand Rails, Bollards, RR Barricade, Work Zone Signs, Pavement Marking Lines, Temporary Silt Fence, Seeding & Mulching, and Erosion Control Items, Greenway Trail Equipment (benches, shelters, etc.), Ararat River Restoration Items (rock vanes, earthwork, etc.) and other items as per City of Mount Airy Proposal.
Project information may be examined at our office in Mount Airy or the City of Mount Airy Public Works. We are available to assist you in interpreting the plans and specifications, locating supplies and equipment, quick pay agreements, partnerships/JVs, and/or obtaining insurance and bonding. We are available to negotiate to assume part of the responsibility to meet the contract goals when work to be sublet includes the possibility of HUB/MBE/WBE 2nd and 3rd tier subcontractors.
A pre-bid conference will be held in our office on Tuesday, September 20th, at 10:00 A.M., to discuss the proposed projects with any interested HUB/DBE/MBE/WBE. Please call 336/789-8221 if you plan to attend the pre-bid conference or if you would like to schedule another time for a pre-bid meeting.
