Then at 11:00am the Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at Burke Development\, Inc.\, 2128 S. Sterling\, Suite 150\, Morganton\, NC 28655. Parking is available adjacent to the building. \nOnly contractors prequalified need attend. The meeting will address project specific questions\, issues\, bidding procedures and bid forms.\n\n​BID INVITATION/LOCATION:\nBid Date: Thursday\, October 9\, 2025\, at 2:00pm location time. \nThe Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below.\n\n\nBid Date: Thursday\, October 9\, 2025\n\n\nBid Time: 2:00pm\, local time\n\n\nBid Location: Burke Development\, Inc.\, 2128 S. Sterling\, Suite 150\, Morganton\, NC 28655\n\n\nBids will be immediately thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.\n \nThe work of this project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes\, but not limited to\, the following scope: All labor\, taxes\, materials\, equipment\, services\, permits\, incidental and implied\, to install a complete working system as designed. The project consists of a 101\,494-sf new industrial / warehouse shell building located on 0 Unix Road\, City of Morganton\, Burke County\, North Carolina 28655. The construction type is IIB non-combustible\, unlimited area\, with a primary occupancy of F1 or S1. The building structure is a conventional steel frame and bar joist structure with load bearing insulated pre-cast concrete panel exterior walls. The approximate interior clear height under the girder at the low end is 30′-0″. There will be a total of 9 dock doors\, a drive-in ramp and associated truck court.
