An Equal Employment Opportunity Contractor\, NC General Contractors # 7706 Will Consider All Quotes Regardless of Race\, Color\, Religion\, Sex\, or National Origin and is Soliciting Bids for M/WBE Participation.\nWe would appreciate a quotation from your firm for all work and/or materials on the following project:\nProject Name: REBID – Jonesville – Water Line Improvements\n \nBid Date: Wednesday\, September 24th\, 2025 @ 2:00 PM\n \nPlease provide your proposal by: 09-23-25 @ 5:00 PM\n \nWe are soliciting subcontract bids for the following trades. Work may include\, but not limited to: Clearing and grubbing where necessary\, traffic control\, temporary removal and restoration or temporary support of\, but not limited to\, existing mailboxes\, signs\, fences\, shrubs\, plants (under 6 feet in height)\, guard rails\, power and telephone poles\, excavating\, shoring and bracing where required\, dewatering as required\, installing\, backfilling (including Class I material as specified for the pipe bedding\, haunching\, and initial backfill)\, installation of warning / identification tape over utilities\, Installation of tracer wire on non-metallic utilities\, temporary support and protection of existing underground facilities\, pipe\, concrete blocking and encasement\, connection to existing piping\, fittings\, and restrained joint fittings\, flushing and testing\, repair to damaged new and existing utilities\, adjust existing and new valve boxes to finished surface elevations\, cutting and removal of existing paved surfaces\, patching of existing paved surfaces shall be paid as indicated elsewhere\, grade disturbed areas to original surface profile prior to seeding\, clean up and seeding\, water line installation\, erosion control\, painting\, water work\, erosion control\, rock excavation\, grout fill\, asphalt repair\, insertion valves\, hauling\, concrete\, gravel\, brick and stone\, silt fence\, along with any incidentals and materials necessary for construction to complete the project.\n \nThe Project includes the following Work:\n1) Installation of 2\,989 LF of 8” PVC C900 water line and associated appurtenances.\n2) Installation of 3\,745 LF of 6” PVC C900 water line and associated appurtenances.\n3) Installation of (9) 12-inch and (1) 8-inch insertion valves on existing mains.\n4) Replacement of 1\,282 water services from main to meter.\n    a. Includes replacement of meter box\, meter setter and backflow preventer.\n    b. Existing services to be abandoned after installation of new service.\n \nThe work performed under this Contract shall include but may not be limited to: The furnishing of all labor\, materials\, equipment and services\, whether specifically mentioned or not\, that is required to complete the Construction of the Work of the project.
