Newton, NC / Startown Fire Station

PROJECT/LOCATION: Startown Fire Station for: Newton Fire Department – City of Newton, 2511 West Hwy. 10, Newton, NC 28658.   

Any General Contractor wishing to bid on the project must have at least one representative of the company present when the meeting begins, or you will not be eligible to bid the project. No exceptions to this requirement.

Bid Date: Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. location time. 

The Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below.

Bids will be immediately thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.

The work of this project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but not limited to, the following scope: All labor, taxes, materials, equipment, services, permits, incidental and implied, to install a complete working system as designed. The project scope consists of approximately 14,247 sf single story slab on grade, brick and block structure, pre-engineered joists and PVC membrane roof, plumbing, mechanical and electrical trades, site work, and any other construction components per contract documents.

Division 1 – General Requirements, Division 2 – Site Construction, Division 3 – Concrete, Division 4 – Masonry, Division 5 – Metals, Division 6 – Wood and Plastics, Division 7 – Thermal and Moisture Protection, Division 8 – Doors and Windows, Division 9 – Finish, Division 10 – Specialties, all plumbing, mechanical and electrical work is shown on the contract drawings, and any other division scope of work identified in the contract documents.
