This project involves floodplain re-grading, restoration of the adjacent unnamed tributary, repair of the gravel parking lot, re-installation of damaged park infrastructure, and re-establishment of drainage through the site that was destroyed during tropical storm Helene. This includes stabilizing 724 linear feet of overbank area along Wilson Creek. Channel restoration to the Unnamed Tributary to Wilson Creek that is present on the site will include replacing the two damaged undersized circular culverts with a single bottomless arch culvert and a restored natural channel with bankfull bench.
