PLAN READING- BASIC CONCEPTS FOR BEGINNERS
Some topics to be covered will include:
- Standard Engineering Abbreviations
- What is in a set of plans/orientation/existing/proposed
- How to read a scale
- How to read a plan profile and stations
- How to read a pipe schedule and understanding contours
- Identifying standard items in plans such as streets, curbing, driveways, centerlines, water mains, sewer mains, and storm drainage conveyances, etc.
