This project consists of construction of a new Dewatering and Drying Building to house sludge dewatering belt filter presses (BFPs), polymer dilution and feed systems, a sludge belt dryer and appurtenances, and supporting equipment; an odor control system to serve the Dewatering and Drying Building; a covered dried biosolids storage facility; modifications inside the Sludge Holding Tanks Control Building, including the removal of an existing plunger-type sludge pump and installation of a new progressing-cavity BFP feed pump with sludge grinder; improvements to the sludge holding tanks, including the installation of coarse bubble air diffusers in three holding tanks, a new outdoor blower facility, and air piping connecting the blowers to the diffusers; heating, ventilation and air conditioning for new facilities, as well as demolition and modifications to existing facilities; plumbing for new facilities; electrical for new facilities, and demolition and modifications to existing facilities; instrumentation and controls for new facilities and modifications to existing facilities; yard piping, grading, paving, and landscaping; installation, maintenance and removal of all erosion and sediment control, and other environmental protection measures, including all permits and approvals required; testing, start-up, training, and miscellaneous work; site cleanup and restoration; and other work indicated in the Contract Documents.
We are soliciting subcontract bids for the following trades. Work may include, but not limited to: water & wastewater equipment, pollution & waste control equipment, thermal & moisture protection, structural steel framing, steel joists, steel decking, metal railings, post installed anchors & reinforcing bars, bar gratings, masonry, concrete, pavement marking, rough carpentry, fiberglass reinforced plastic components, asphalt paving, electrical, earthwork, sidewalks, chain link fence & gates, landscape grading, turf & grass, skylights, rotary lube blowers, progressing cavity pumps, process interconnections, high density polyethylene thanks, storm utility drainage, disinfecting of water utility distribution, communications, electronic safety & security, fire hydrants, manholes & structures, ductile iron utility pipe for water service, water utility distribution valves, plumbing, HVAC, fire dept connections, wet pipe sprinkler systems, door hardware, non-structural metal framing, gypsum board, ceramic tiling, acoustical panel ceilings, resilient tile flooring, resinous flooring, atmospheric protection & plant service areas coatings, toilet, bath, laundry accessories, room identification panel signage, fire extinguishers, extruded aluminum canopies, stationary loading dock equipment, industrial furniture, metal building systems, identification, sleeves & sleeve seals, hangers & supports for fire suppression piping & equipment, escutcheons & general duty valves for fire protection piping, along with any incidentals and materials necessary for construction to complete the project.
The work performed under this Contract shall include but may not be limited to the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and services, whether specifically mentioned or not, that is required to complete the Construction of the Work of the project. All requirements of the State of North Carolina and all pertinent administrative regulations shall apply to this project as if herein written out in full.

Bonding: It is Jimmy R. Lynch & Sons, Inc. policy NOT to require M/WBE subcontractors to provide bonding to Jimmy R. Lynch & Sons, Inc. for their portion of the work. All M/WBE subcontractors will be allowed to work under Jimmy R. Lynch & Sons, Inc Performance & Payment Bonds to the Owner.
If you would like to obtain a bond on this project to help build your bonding capacity, please let us know through email, phone call or specifying on your quote and we will put you in contact with our Bonding Agent.
Financial Assistance: Jimmy R. Lynch & Sons, Inc. will provide Joint Check Agreements to all M/WBE subcontractors. Please request a Joint Check Agreement in writing. We will work with you and the material vendor to develop a Joint Check Agreement to satisfy all parties.
Quick Payments: It is Jimmy R. Lynch & Sons, Inc. policy to provide Quick Payments to all M/WBE subcontractors. Jimmy R Lynch & Sons, Inc will provide payment to all M/WBE subcontractors on a weekly basis if the work for which payment is being requested is complete and accepted by the Owner.
JRL encourages 2nd tier M/WBE Subcontracting opportunities. We encourage our subcontractors to utilize 2nd and 3rd tier M/WBE Subcontractors.
