Dewberry/ Durham Public Schools Githens Middle School Chiller Replacement

We have a project at DPS Githens Middle School that we wanted to make sure you were aware of.
Removal/replacement of +/- 200-ton air cooled chiller, primary chilled water pumps, and secondary chilled water pumps.
Along with supporting electrical/general construction work.
Connection back to existing Distech controls.
Preferred alternates for Trane Chiller and Distech Controls.

Pre-bid meeting: Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 10:00am on site at Githens Middle School. 4800 Old Chapel Hill Road, Durham, NC. Meet at front office and we will go from there.
Bid Opening: Thursday, December 15th at 2:00pm. Hard copies of bids shall be delivered to: DPS Main Office, 511 Cleveland Street, Durham, NC 27701. In person bid opening.
Bid bond is required.
Performance and Payment Bonds are required.
Intent of project is to issue NTP around January 13, 2023.
Substantial Completion Date of March 8, 2024. 425 calendar days. (Assuming 365 days lead time for chiller)
