Mooresville, NC – MHS Area and Manor Circle Water Line Replacements (20200670.00.CL)

The work will consist of construction of 8-inch water line and 2-in water line, including all necessary appurtenances. The purpose of the project is to replace existing 2-inch galvanized water lines along: Elm Street, South Maple Street, Sycamore Lane, Sharpe Street, North Sycamore Street, Evergreen Street, Rankin Street, and Manor Circle.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum or unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

Instructions to Bidders – For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.

ADA Compliance – A qualified interpreter for the hearing impaired is available upon request at least 10 (ten) days in advance of the bid opening date. Please call the Public Services Department at (704) 663- 7282 for more information.

Bids may be held by the Town of Mooresville for a period not to exceed ninety one (91) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing bids and investigating qualifications of bidders. The Town also reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities or technicalities as it may deem to be in its best interest.

Vendors, Manufacturers and Subcontractors may purchase specific plan sheets and/or specification sections by emailing [email protected] with a list of desired sheets and/or sections. A Table of Contents is available under the Spec Sheets tab in the project posting. Please note that partial purchasers will not be considered plan holders and will not receive notifications of Addendum. However, Addenda will be available for viewing in the project posting.

Please note that only registered plan holders may bid as a General Contractor.

A printed bid set is $103.00 plus applicable sales tax.

A printed bid set & USB Drive with PDF files for $128.00 plus applicable sales tax.

A set is also available for download from this site in PDF for $78.00 plus applicable sales tax. Downloads do not include addenda, they are all available on the “Addenda” tab of this page. Once payment is secured, you will receive an email that your files are ready to be downloaded from your account.

Purchase of entire bid set includes all plans and specifications, including any addenda released at time of order. Planholders will be notified by email when future addenda are issued and it will be the responsibility of each plan holder to download the addenda. Shipping, if required, will be charged to each order.

ADDENDA DISTRIBUTION

Existing planholders will be notified by email upon the release of any addenda. Failure to order bid sets through Duncan-Parnell may prevent you from being notified of issued addenda. Printed copies of addendum will be available at no additional charge. Shipping, if required will be charged. Contact your local Duncan-Parnell office to request a printed set of addenda files. Addenda notifications are sent via email from the mail account of “[email protected]” and could be flagged as spam by your company network firewall.
