Harleyville, SC – Pump Station NO. 1 Upgrade

The Project consists of an upgrade to existing pump station and installation of force main and includes the following summary of work:

• Upgrade of existing Pump Station No. 1
• Construction of approximately 2,000 linear feet of 6” force main.
• Associated civil and electrical work required for construction of the facilities.

To demonstrate Bidder’s qualifications to perform the Work, after submitting its Bid and within 10 days of Owner’s request, Bidder shall submit (a) written evidence establishing its qualifications such as financial data, previous experience, and present commitments per Section C-451

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to the Owner in an amount of 5 percent of the Bidder’s maximum bid price.

Contractors shall have a classification of WL.

No bidder may withdraw the bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening and thereof.

This project is being funded in whole or in part by the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). All federal CDBG requirements will apply to the contract. All contractors and subcontractors are required to be registered in the federal System for Award Management (SAM). Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Order No. 11246 & Order No. 11375 which
