All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of labor, material & equipment on this date.
BID LOCATION: George W. Clay Jr. Utilities Operations Center, 824 W. Grover Street, Shelby, NC 28150 (Attn: Mr. Rick Howell, City Manager)
The work of this project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but not limited to, the following scope: All labor, taxes, materials, equipment, services, permits, incidental and implied, to install a complete working system as designed. The Depot Park project includes the adaptive reuse rehabilitation of the existing Depot Building, demolishing an addition that was added to the original Depot Building, addition of six (6) new structures including a stage, two (2) restroom buildings, and three (3) open air shelters. Site upgrades will include road improvements with curb and gutter, storm drains, and asphalt; extension of the Carolina Harmony Trail with an elevated section of trail requiring a pedestrian bridge; splash pad; playground; misting system; pavers; site and decorative lighting; and landscaping with irrigation. The project includes all other work as shown, indicated or reasonably implied on the contract drawings and/or specifications for a complete project.
Hickory Construction Company, Hickory, NC is seeking subcontractors for a specific trade that covers the work described below.
Division 02 – Existing Conditions, Division 03 – Concrete, Division 04 – Masonry, Division 05 – Metals, Division 06 – Woods, Plastics and Composite, Division 07 – Thermal and Moisture Protection, Division 08 – Openings, Division 09 – Finishes, Division 10 – Specialties, Division 12 – Furnishings, Division 22 – Plumbing Drawings, Division 23 – Mechanical Drawings, Division 26 – Electrical Drawings, Division 31 – Earthwork, Division 32 – Exterior Improvements, and any other division scope of work identified in the contract documents.
