MANDATORY PREBID MEETING & SITE VISIT:
A mandatory open pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders on October 10, 2024 (Addendum #1) at 2:00pm in the Facilities Annex – Planning, Design, and Construction Conference Room, 2458 NC-105 South, Boone, NC 28607. The meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures and bid forms. A mandatory site visit will occur directly following the Pre-Bid meeting.

The work of this project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but not limited to, the following scope: All labor, taxes, materials, equipment, services, permits, incidental and implied, to install a complete working system as designed. The project consists of one (1) pre-engineered metal building approximately 48,600sf for 6 tennis courts. The building incorporates a retaining wall to reconcile the stepped site and provide support spaces at an upper level overlooking the courts. Additional site work includes nominal access drives and sidewalks. The project includes all other work as shown, indicated or reasonably implied on the contract drawings and/or specifications for a complete project.
Hickory Construction Company, Hickory, NC is seeking subcontractors for a specific trade that covers the work described below.
Division 03 – Concrete, Division 04 – Masonry, Division 05 – Metals, Division 06 – Wood, Plastics, and Composites, Division 07 – Thermal and Moisture Protection, Division 08 – Openings, Division 09 – Finishes, Division 10 – Specialties, Division 11 – Equipment, Division 12 – Furnishings, Division 13 – Special Construction, Division 21 – Fire Suppression, Division 22 – Plumbing, Division 23 – Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Division 26 – Electrical, Division 27 – Communications, Division 28 – Electronic Safety and Security, Division 31 – Earthwork, Division 32 – Exterior Improvements, Division 33 – Utilities, and any other division scope of work identified in the contract documents.
