Date & Time: Monday, February 20, 2025, at 3:00pm / WCU Facilities Management Offices, 3476 Old Cullowhee Road, NC 28723.
An open pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders on February 20, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. The meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures and bid forms.
BID INVITATION/LOCATION:
Bid Date: Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 3:00 a.m. location time.
The Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:

Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.
The work of this project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but not limited to, the following scope: All labor, taxes, materials, equipment, services, permits, incidental and implied, to install a complete working system as designed. Selective exterior and interior renovation of Stillwell Science building offices, classrooms and laboratories, contract plans and specifications and further described in the request for proposal and instructions to bidders.
Hickory Construction Company, Hickory, NC is seeking subcontractors for a specific trade that covers the work described below.
Division 02 – Existing Conditions, Division 03 – Concrete, Division 04 – Masonry, Division 05 – Metals, Division 06 – Wood, Plastics and Composites, Division 07 – Thermal and Moisture Protection, Division 08 – Openings, Division 09 – Finishes, Division 10 – Specialties, Division 11 – Equipment, Division 22 – Plumbing, Division 23 – Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Division 26 – Electrical, Division 27 – Communications, Division 28 – Electronic Safety and Security, Division 31 – Earthwork, Division 32 – Exterior Improvements, Division 33 – Utilities, and any other division scope of work identified in the contract documents.
