Jonesville, VA – Rehabilitate Airfield Electrical System – 22013

This project involves the rehabilitation of the airfield’s existing electrical system by replacing the following items: Runway edge lights (MIRLs), Runway threshold lights and housekeeping pad, Airfield Guidance Signs, Regulator, Wind Cone, Beacon Light, Runway End Identifier Lights (REILs), and Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPIs). Bid additives will be utilized to create maximum flexibility with the amount of funding available.

Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and a Contract Payment Bond each equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price will be required for the successful Contractor. No bid may be withdrawn prior to October 15, 2023. Proposals shall be placed in a sealed envelope addressed to the County of Lee, Lee County Courthouse, 33640 Main Street, Jonesville, Virginia 24263 and labeled in lower left-hand corner:

Purchase of entire bid set includes all plans and specifications, including any addenda released at time of order. Planholders will be notified by email when future addenda are issued and it will be the responsibility of each plan holder to download the addenda. Shipping, if required, will be charged to each order.

ADDENDA DISTRIBUTION

Existing planholders will be notified by email upon the release of any addenda. Failure to order bid sets through Duncan-Parnell may prevent you from being notified of issued addenda. Printed copies of addendum will be available at no additional charge. Shipping, if required will be charged. Contact your local Duncan-Parnell office to request a printed set of addenda files.
