PROJECT: TRYON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL – ADDITIONS AND RENOVATIONS, TRYON, NC 28782

BID INVITATION FOR:  Tryon Elementary School – Additions and Renovations for Polk County Schools, 100 School Pl., Tryon, NC 28782

Bid Date: Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., local time

Location: Polk County Schools, 100 School Pl., Tryon, NC 28782 (Attn: Mr. Aaron Greene, Superintendent)

All bids will be publicly opened and read for the construction at 1:00 p.m. on this date.

The work of project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following scope: All labor, taxes, materials, equipment, services, permits, incidental and implied, to install a complete working system as designed. The project consists of a one-story addition to the existing school which includes new classrooms. New structure will consist of steel frame and walls with gypsum wallboard, masonry veneers, concrete slab floors w/VCT finishes, acoustical ceilings, low sloping metal roofs, metal deck roofs, single ply membrane roofing, aluminum canopies, steel frame canopies, storefront and window sash. There will also be refurbishing of the existing classroom facilities that includes paint, lighting and millwork. Exterior work includes grading, drives, parking areas, concrete curbs and gutters and storm drainage.

The work as described above is not all inclusive.

Hickory Construction Company, Hickory, NC is seeking subcontractors for the specific scope of work as described above.
