BID INVITATION FOR: City of Hickory – Group Hangar, Hickory, NC 28601
Bid Date & Time: Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 2:00p.m., Local Time
All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of labor, material & equipment on this date.
BID LOCATION: City of Hickory (Owner), at City of Hickory Council Chambers, 76 North Center Street, Hickory, NC 28601
The work of this project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but not limited to, the following scope: All labor, taxes, materials, equipment, services, permits, incidental and implied, to install a complete working system as designed. The proposed hangar is approximately 14,296sf and will consist of a Storage Area (approx. 11,407sf), Business Area (2,667sf), Residential Area (222sf). More detailed areas include a Lounge (100), Dining Area (101), Corridor (102), Administration Area (103), Chart Office (104), Office/Sleeping Quarters (105), Women’s Area (106), Men’s Area (107), Equipment Storage (108), I. T. & Refrigeration (109), and Storage Hangar (110). The project includes all other work as shown, indicated or reasonably implied on the contract drawings and/or specifications for a complete project.
Hickory Construction Company, Hickory, NC is seeking subcontractors for a specific trade that covers the work described below.
Division 03 – Concrete, Division 04 – Masonry, Division 05 – Metals, Division 06 – Woods and Plastics, Division 07 – Thermal and Moisture Protection, Division 08 – Doors and Windows, Division 09 – Finishes, Division 10 – Specialties, Division 12 – Furnishings, Division 13 – Special Constuction, Division 22 – Plumbing & Fire Protection, Division 23 – Mechanical – (See Drawings), Division 26 – Electrical – (See Drawings), Division 31 – Earthwork – (See Drawings), Division 32 – Exterior Improvements – (See Drawings), Division 33 – Utilities – (See Drawings), and any other division scope of work identified in the contract documents.
