Bid date August 2,2023.

Both Projects consist of various sewer rehabilitation projects throughout the OWASA

service area. The project area is located throughout the Towns of Chapel Hill and

Carrboro. The Project includes, but is not limited to, furnishing of labor materials, and

equipment for the construction of the following: 8-in diameter gravity sewer to be

rehabilitated using cured-in-place lining; rehabilitation of existing manholes using calcium

aluminate cementitious lining systems, other manhole rehabilitation work including, but

not limited to sand blasting, patching voids, and all frame connections with non-shrink grout

flexible chimney seals; traffic control; and bypass pumping and all associated

appurtenances as described in the Specifications and as shown on the Drawings.

The foregoing description shall not be construed as a complete description of all work required.

Insituform Technologies, Inc. is bidding as a general contractor on both projects listed above.  We are soliciting subcontract bids from certified MBE/WBE/DBE firms in the following areas:

* Cleaning/CCTV

* Manhole -Rehabilitation

Insituform Technologies, LLC will negotiate fairly with interested minorities and will not reject without sound reason.  If not selected, you may contact me to discuss the reason for rejection.

Insituform Technologies, LLC will assist or advise concerning obtaining bonding, loan capital, lines of credit, and insurance or joint pay agreements.

Insituform Technologies, LLC will be glad to discuss partnership arrangements where possible and quick pay agreements.
