RFQ: New Fire Station 15 Design and Construction Administration Services
The City of Raleigh is soliciting Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) from architectural and engineering firms with expertise in the design and construction of fire stations for a new Raleigh Fire Station 15 to replace the existing Fire Station 15, which is located at 1815 Spring Forest Road in Raleigh.
The consultant services include, but are not limited to programming, design, permitting, bid phase, cost estimating, and construction administration services for the new Fire Station 15, which is proposed to be located on Spring Forrest Road at Millbrook Park property near the current station.
The facility is planned to be approximately 17,000 SF meeting operational needs. The construction budget is approximately $13.5M plus city contingency of $1.7M and projected escalation of $3.5M through end of construction in January 2027.
Important Dates:
A pre-submittal conference for all prospective proposers is scheduled for January 19, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Halifax Community Center, 1023 Halifax Street Raleigh, NC 27604.
Questions concerning this RFQ will be received until January 26, 2024 at 4:00 pm at which time no future questions will be accepted.
Submittal due date and time is February 9, 2024 at 3:00 pm.
