Project: PBS Bryan Center – Halon Replacement – REBID
Bids Due – 10/11/2023 at 5pm
Project Description – A general contractor-led construction project including scope of work indicated in the project drawings and specifications to remove existing Halon Fire Protection and install new Clean Agent Fire Protection in select rooms. Not all prior rooms protected by Halon will receive new Clean Agent fire protection. Rooms that have Halon Fire Protection removed but do not have Clean Agent Fire Protection installed will have new fire alarm devices installed which are general building alarm devices which will activate pre-action sprinkler valve.
-Work hours: Monday-Thursday 6:30am-4:30pm
-New Clean Agent fire protection to be installed prior to demo.
-Wiring is located in the equipment room at 1′-6″ BFF.
-There is no downtime between phases. Once one phase is complete, start the next.
-Owner will provide anticipated award and start date.
Scopes of work needed include Fire Protection, HVAC, Electrical and Electronic Safety & Security.
