City of Winston Salem Project

Cedar Trail and Petree Road Sidewalk Improvements

Dear Subcontractors:

Sharpe Brothers is actively requesting quotations from Certified HUB Subcontractors from the North Carolina Department of Administration (HUB) or the NCDOT for the above project with a total project goal of 20% participation (12% MBE & 8% WBE).  The project consists of roadway widening, adding sidewalk and curb and gutter to Petree Road for 2,100 LF and Cedar Trail for 1,150 LF in the City of Winston Salem.

The anticipated starting date for this project is April 29, 2024 and an estimated completion date of May 30, 2025.   We are looking for quotes for the following items to subcontract:  Trucking (hourly), Tree Removal, Striping, Signage, Milling, Masonry Drainage Boxes, Erosion Control, Sidewalk, Curb & Gutter, Handicap Ramps, & Seeding.

Attached to this email are the Bid Items for the project.   Plans and the proposal can be email out per request for the project.  Also, the plans and proposal are available for free to download at the link below.

Sharpe Brothers is willing to review any responsible quote and will negotiate terms, if appropriate.   We will notify your firm if your bid is accepted for this project.  We request the receipt of quotations by January 22, 2024, 2:00 pm to fairly evaluate all quotes.
