Spartanburg, SC – Bens Creek Gravity Sewer Project Phase II – From Fowler Rd to Green Pond Rd

The project consists of the installation of approximately 1,370 linear feet of 18” gravity sewer and 7,315 linear feet of 15” & 16” gravity sewer.

To receive a response, which will be distributed to all plan-holders of record, questions must be received prior to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2024.

A satisfactory Bid Bond provided by an acceptable surety (or the cash equivalent) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid.

The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bids that appear to be in the best interest of the Owner, and further reserves the right to waive irregularities in the bids and to reject any and all bids received.

Performance and payment bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required. The bonds must be secured by cash or must be issued by a surety company licensed in the State of South Carolina with an “A” minimum rating of performance as stated in the most current publication of “Best Key Rating Guide, Property Liability.”

Certificates of insurance naming the Owner as an additional insured and with limits as noted in the bid documents will be required.

Contractors submitting bids shall be properly licensed in the State of South Carolina to bid and perform the work on which the bid is submitted at the date of the bid.

It is the policy of Spartanburg Water that local minority and women owned enterprises (MWBE) shall be afforded the opportunity to participate fully in the overall procurement of Spartanburg Water. This is an equal opportunity selection.

Any print order placed on this site includes all plans and specifications, including any addenda released at the time of order. Downloads do not include addenda, they are all available on the “Addenda” tab of this page. Planholders will be notified by email when future addenda are issued. It is the responsibility of each plan holder to download the addenda. Shipping, if required, will be charged to each order.
