PRE-BID MEETING:
Date & Time: Tuesday, December 4, 2024, at 10:00am 
An open pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders at the public works facility, 118 North Main Street, Burnsville, NC 28714. The meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures and bid forms. There will be a site walk, and bidders will be able to review existing conditions. The Pre-Bid Conference is strongly recommended for all bidders. Bidders will be submitted on the bid question form available with the bid documents by December 11, 2024, at 5:00pm. Question responses will be via public addenda. Parking for the Pre-Bid is at 118 North Main Street, Burnsville, NC 28714 or next door at the Driver’s License Office, 133 North Main Street, Burnsville, NC 28714.
BID INVITATION/LOCATION:
Bid Date & Time: Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 3:00p.m. Location time. 
Town of Burnsville in Burnsville North Carolina, at 2 Town Square, Burnsville, NC 28714 in the Mark W. Bennette Board Room (on the second floor of 2 Town Square up to 3:00pm on January 8, 2025 and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.
 
The work of this project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but not limited to, the following scope: All labor, taxes, materials, equipment, services, permits, incidental and implied, to install a complete working system as designed.  The project scope consists of a 10,032sf automatic fire sprinkled addition to the existing truck bay building. The addition will be a two-story masonry construction, with offices. A training room, commercial kitchen, residential areas, day room and bunk rooms. Project will include site work, driveways, and parking areas.
Hickory Construction Company, Hickory, NC is seeking subcontractors for a specific trade that covers the work described below.
Division 02 – Existing Conditions, Division 04 – Masonry, Division 05– Metals, Division 06– Wood, Plastics, and Composites, Division 07 – Thermal and Moisture Protection, Division 08 – Openings, Division 09 – Finishes, Division 10 Specialties, Division 11 – Equipment, Division 12 – Furnishings, Division 14 – Conveying Systems, Division 21 – Fire Suppression, Division 22 – Plumbing, Division 23 – Heatin, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Division 26 – Electrical, Division 27 – Communications, Division 28 – Electronic Safety and Security, Division 31 – Earthwork, Division 32 – Exterior Improvements, Division 33 – Utilities, and any other division scope of work identified in the contract documents.
