The project consists of:
Demolition of existing Fire Alarm System and located at 2800 Brentwood Rd., Raleigh, NC 27610. Including the removal of all Panels, wiring, conduit and devices.
Demolition of all existing electoral wiring to support the current fire Alarm system
Installation of a new Fire Alarm System Per NFPA code
The scope of work includes electrical upgrade necessary to complete the installation of a fully functional Fire alarm system.
The Contractor will be required to coordinate with the Electrical Contractor and telecommunication contractor during the project.
It is to be noted that the property is 85 % occupied so bidders must factor maintaining service with the existing system while the work is being performed.

Following review of pre-bid meeting agenda items, participants will be allowed to ask questions related to the project scope of work. Other questions will be received ONLY in written form. The deadline to submit written questions to the Engineer on 4:00 PM local prevailing time on November 14, 2022
City staff will provide responses to all questions via addendum on Friday, November 18, 2022 – 4:00 p.m.

Purchase of entire bid set includes all plans and specifications, including any addenda released at time of order. Planholders will be notified by email when future addenda are issued and it will be the responsibility of each plan holder to download the addenda. Shipping, if required, will be charged to each order.

Existing planholders will be notified by email upon the release of any addenda. Failure to order bid sets through Duncan-Parnell may prevent you from being notified of issued addenda.
