PRE-BID MEETING:

A pre-id meeting for all interested bidders will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at the Western Piedmont Council of Governments Office site 1880 2nd Avenue NW, Hickory, NC 28601. The meeting will begin promptly in the Main Conference Room and is optional but attendance is strongly encouraged.

Bid Date & Time: Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 3:30p.m.
The work of this project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but not limited to, the following scope: All labor, taxes, materials, equipment, services, permits, incidental and implied, to install a complete working system as designed. The work includes but is not limited to a two-story expansion (Approx. 8,000sf) and renovations of the existing one-story office building. The project includes all other work as shown, indicated or reasonably implied on the contract drawings and/or specifications.
Hickory Construction Company, Hickory, NC is seeking subcontractors for a specific trade that covers the work described below.
Division 02 – Existing Conditions, Division 03 – Concrete, Division 04 – Masonry, Division 05 – Metals, Division 06 – Wood, Plastics, and Composites, Division 07 – Thermal and Moisture Protection, Division 08 – Openings, Division 09 – Finishes, Division 10 – Specialties, Division 12 – Furnishings, Division 21 – Fire Suppression, Division 22 – Plumbing, Division 23 – Heatin, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Division 26 – Electrical, Division 27 – Communications (By Owner), Division 28 – Electronic Safety and Security (By Owner), Division 31 – Earthwork, Division 32 – Exterior Improvements, Division 33 – Utilities, and any other division scope of work identified in the contract documents.
