Scope of Work: The work to be completed consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for full depth pavement patching and surface milling and overlay improvements for:
Group 5: Carriage Lane, Grande Lawn Lane, Carrigan Court, Maggie Way, Fernbank Lane;
Group 6: Cabrillo Drive, Kentwood Drive, Highlander Court, Woodmore Circle;
Group 7: Flint Lock Cove, Rice Hope Cove, Prince Alston Cove, Rutledge Manor Drive.
Construction Schedule: The OWNER intends to issue the Notice of Award within 30 days of the bid opening, and the Notice to Proceed on or about February 1, 2024. The allowable construction schedule for the project is 60 calendar days.

Bidders must deposit security with all bids. Security shall be in the form of a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Owner, and shall be for an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Provisions of the security shall be as described in the Information for Bidders.
No bid will be considered unless the bidder is legally qualified under the provisions of the South Carolina Contractor’s Licensing Law (South Carolina Code of Laws as amended on April 1, 1999, Chapter 11, Sections 40-11-10 through 40-11-428). All bidders must be properly bonded and insured, with proof provided upon request. Contractors shall have a classification of AP.
No bidder may withdraw the bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening and thereof.
The Owner welcomes submissions from minority and woman owned businesses. Please indicate that you are a minority or woman owned business with your request for bid documents.
This solicitation does not commit the Owner to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a bid, or to procure or contract for services. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, reject any and all responses, to cancel this solicitation, and to make an award deemed in its own best interest.

Existing planholders will be notified by email upon the release of any addenda. Failure to order bid sets through Duncan-Parnell may prevent you from being notified of issued addenda.
