Mrs. J.B. Bryan is the President and Chief Investment Officer of J.B. Bryan Financial Group Inc., A Registered Investment Advisory Firm and The Home of AfroEconomics™.
In 1995, Bryan started the first Black owned Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm in the Richmond, Virginia area and quite possibly the first Black owned independent Registered Investment Advisory firm in the State of Virginia to serve individual investors. JB’s firm has offices in Richmond, Virginia, Washington, DC, and New York. The corporation is celebrating more than 26 years of serving investors.
JB Bryan created and trademarked AfroEconomics™ a strategic financial management program designed for the advancement of Black wealth in America and abroad.

JB Bryan proudly holds an undergraduate degree from The University of Virginia, and a master’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Mrs. Bryan is currently completing a PhD program in Management & 21st Century Finance from Walden University.
JB Bryan has received Distinguished Graduate Awards from the University of Virginia, and Virginia Commonwealth University. JB Bryan is the proud wife of Mr. Michael Robinson and the mother of one child, Aazizah who is currently a Bio-Medical Engineering student at Penn State University.
