Heritage High & Middle Creek High Generator Projects
The work at Heritage High School generally includes installation of a new 600kW stand-by generator (no life safety served by new machine) to serve an existing chiller and additional loads inside the building. Work includes, but is not limited to:
- New 600kW diesel generator and modification of existing distribution to incorporate
- Extension of existing enclosed service court (block/brick walls with slab floor) to incorporate new generator
- New housekeeping pad to accommodate the new generator
- Tie in of all controls
- New SCADA system to serve new generator
The work at Middle Creek High School generally includes installation of a new 500kW emergency generator to serve an existing chiller, life safety loads, and additional loads inside the building. Work includes, but is not limited to:
- New 500kW diesel generator and modification of existing distribution to incorporate
- Removal of existing and installation of new chain link fencing around generator.
- New housekeeping pad to accommodate the new generator
- Tie in of all controls
- New SCADA system to serve new generator
Bid Opening is in person at 2:00pm on Thursday, May 25th, 2023 at County of Wake in the Purchasing Department, Suite 2900, Wake County Justice Center, 301 McDowell Street, Raleigh, NC 27601.

Non-Mandatory Pre-bid Meeting will be held on site at Heritage High School on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 @ 3:00pm. Meet at front entrance of Heritage High School, 1150 Forestville Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
Then on Wednesday, May 17th at 3:00pm, Bidders can visit the Middle Creek High School project site to view the existing conditions. Meet at the front entrance of Middle Creek High School, 123 Middle Creek Park Avenue, Apex, NC 27539
