PROJECT/LOCATION: NEWTON-CONOVER HIGH SCHOOL STADIUM RENOVATION AND STORM PIPE REPLACEMENT, 338 West 15th Street, Newton, North Carolina 28658

A Prebid meeting for all bidders will be held at 338 West 15^th Street, Newton, North Carolina 28658 on January 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Local time. Prospective prime bidders are encouraged to attend. The Landscape Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders’ questions received prior to conference. The last day to submit questions is January 6, 2025.

Bid Date & Time: Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. location time. 

The Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:

Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.

The work of this project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but not limited to, the following scope: All labor, taxes, materials, equipment, services, permits, incidental and implied, to install a complete working system as designed.  The project consists of demolition of the existing track and infrastructure below and interior to the track. An existing 54″ CMP storm pipe that runs beneath the field will either be excavated and removed from the site or filled with flowable fill, both of which will require partial removal and capping of the 54″ pipe. The removal or fill occurs after the to be constructed 54″ by-pass is installed and functioning.

Division 02 – Existing Conditions, Division 03 – Concrete, Division 11 – Equipment, Division 31 – Earthwork, Division 32 – Exterior Improvements, Division 33 – Utilities, and any other division scope of work identified in the contract documents.
