– Stone and Soil: Dump truck Hauling, stone aggregates, Riprap, Soils
– Site Work:  Earthworks, fabrics , Grass Seeding
– Storm Drainage RCP pipe , Precast structure, inlets headwall and wingwalls
– Storm Structures: Box Culverts triple 12×12, Duel 10×10 endwalls and wingwalls
– Utilities: DIP pipe and fittings, sewer manholes, Trenchless 48” steel Casing
– Pavement, Milling, 8” Portland cement paving, Striping and marking
– Fencing: chain link  SIDA fence Removal & relocation, chan-link fence, vehicle gates
– Electrical:  Concrete encased Duct Bank, Octagonal manholes, communication manhole
Scope of work:
This project is part of the 4th Parallel Runway Program and involves early grading and stockpiling activities.  The scope of work primarily involves excavation, hauling, and placement of approximately 2,000,000 cubic yards of material from the future runway footprint into three designated stockpiles on Airport property. Specific construction activities include grading, drainage, fencing, erosion & sediment control, tree clearing, temporary traffic control, sanitary sewer installation, double/triple box culvert extension, and duct bank installation.
Contract Time
– INTERMEDIATE COMPLETION TIME #1:  COMPLETION OF WORK AREAS 1 AND 2 – 580 days From NTP
– INTERMEDIATE COMPLETION TIME #2:  COMPLETION OF ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE WORK – 160 Days from NTP
– INTERMEDIATE COMPLETION TIME #3:  COMPLETION OF WORK AREA 3 – 125 Days from NTP
Subcontractor Insurance Requirements, Safety And  Site Security Obligations  for Work within Airport Operations Area (AOA) Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) shall comply with Airport Security Requirements including insurance General and Vehicle Ins $5 Million coverage, security badging, operators/drivers Training program, equipment requrements, and  other cContract requirements;

CONTRACT COMPLIANCE All contracts and purchase orders will comply with and flow-down project documents requirements, contract clauses, not limited to: qualification; State & Federal laws and regulations Insurance Coverage, Employment Practices, wage obligation, taxes, Civil Rights Acts, Equal Employment,  Business Utilization MBE/WBE/DBE firms are encouraged to participate & must be certified by NCDOT to be listed at time of bid, Work & materials may be combined or divided to facilitate maximum participation. Subcontractors are obliged to sublet to 2nd & 3rd tier DBE subcontractors.
