The Project consists generally of the following major items:
Traffic circles, speed humps, speed cushions, speed tables, pavement marking, flexible
delineators, grading, sidewalk, ADA Ramps, curb & gutter, concrete median/refuge, and signage.
Some possible needed MWBE subcontracting trades include:
- Concrete
- Asphalt
- Signage
- Pavement Markings
Important Dates:
A non-Mandatory Virtual Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 1:00PM Friday April 5, 2024. If you would like to attend the virtual meeting, please send an email to
eddy.mumpasi@raleighnc.gov that includes the name and email address of the attendee(s). Invitations to the virtual meeting will go out the day of the pre-bid meeting.
Sealed Bids will be received until 2:00PM on Tuesday April 23, 2024, at Raleigh Municipal Building at 222 West Hargett Street, Raleigh, NC Room 419, at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the construction of the FY2023 Traffic Calming project and Wildwood Forest Elementary School Sidewalk Improvements Project.
