JD Beam is seeking certified MWBE subcontractors and suppliers for New Construction of the Northern Granville Co. Senior Center
Bids Due: Friday, March 15th, 2024 @ 2:
Project Scope: Construction of a new 8,714sf single story Senior Center with site development including parking lot, construction of new building including new multi-purpose room, kitchen & dining room, administration, craft & fitness rooms and outside decks. Occupancy: A-2, A-3, B, S-2, Type: V-B construction, Risk Level: II, Non- Sprinklered building.
Project Description: Site clearing, grading, paving, site concrete, underground utilities, landscaping, fencing, building concrete, precast concrete, masonry, structural steel & misc. metals, rough & finish carpentry, casework, roofing and thermal insulation, metal roofing, siding, sheet metal, doors, frames & hardware, glass & glazing, all architectural finishes, specialties, furnishings, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and fire alarm.

Minorities: JD Beam (JDB) is inviting all Minority supplier and subcontractors to submit proposals for this project. JDB will negotiate in good faith with interested minority firms. JDB can provide assistance to qualified HUB certified minority firms who may be in need of equipment, loan capital, lines of credit, quick-pay agreements and policies, bonding or insurance assistance, joint pay agreements to secure loans, supplies, including waving credit ordinarily required and assist with material pricing. JDB is willing to divide or combine scope elements into smaller economical packages to accommodate minority business and provide access to technology to assist in bidding process.
Special Information:
All suppliers and subtrades will be required to sign JD Beam’s Subcontract/Material agreement upon acceptance of bid proposal.
PreBid Info: Prebid meeting will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 10:00am at Granville Co. Stovall Library at 300 Main Street. No Jobsite scheduled.
