The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) Division of Purchases/ RFP Kentucky’s Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Program

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) Division of Purchases has issued a second Request for Proposals (RFP) for Kentucky’s Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Program to install up to 16 additional stations along Kentucky’s interstates and parkways. The purpose of the RFP is to seek proposals for the planning, deployment, operation, and maintenance of Direct Current Fast Charging (DCFC) Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Stations (EVSE Stations) throughout Kentucky, as part of the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program. This step builds on KYTC’s previous announcement last year to award $15.4 million to seven developers to build stations at 24 sites across the state.

Proposers are welcome to formally submit questions regarding the RFP, which must be submitted in accordance with Section 2.3. Questions are due no later than March 20, 2024, and should be submitted via email to Laura.Hagan@ky.gov.

Proposals are due no later than 5:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time/4:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time on April 19, 2024. The full selection process schedule can be found in Section 2.2.
