Tri-State Utilities, LLC (TSU) is seeking subcontractors that are certified Small, Woman and Minority owned businesses (SWAM) by the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (SBSD) to provide submittal data for an RFP for the City of Hampton.

The project is entitled RFP # 23-69TM REHABILITATION SERVICES FOR THE CITYS WASTEWATER GRAVITY SEWER SYSTEM.

Documentation required by the solicitation is due 06/11/2023 to TSU for submission to the owner by 06/13/2023.

Project Description/Subcontracting Opportunities:

Rehabilitation Services for the gravity sewer mains and laterals and manhole rehabilitation services via a cementitious coating with a bacterial corrosion-preventing additive (Permacast with Con Mic Shield® or approved equal),

Cleaning and Pre CCTV of sewer/storm drain line segments, point repairs by open excavation, pipeline remove and replacements, traffic control services to include flagging, detours, and traffic plan development, and possibly more.

Tri-State is willing to review any responsible submittal by certified SWAM specifically Minority MBE and Women owned businesses WBE and will negotiate terms if appropriate.

Tri-State may be able to break down the project into manageable sizes, arrange for quick-pay agreements, arrange for joint pay agreements, or to negotiate for same unit pricing for the subcontractor that is available to TSU.
