Project Name –  UNC Health MRI 3T Replacement
Location –  101 Manning Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27514, United States of America
Project Size –  2,150 sq. ft.
Project Information –
Replace MRI equipment and reconfigure the control room, tech work area, prep rooms, changing rooms, and soiled linen.
 
Construct Work in phases during the construction period:
1. Phase 1A: Soiled Linen AG203, Changing Rooms AG227B and AG227C and Patient Prep 2 AG227A. Work of this phase shall commence on date designated by the Owner and be substantially complete and ready for occupancy within 120 calendar days.
2. Phase 1B: MRI Room AG267F, Control Room AG228 and Tech Work G232 West Side. Work of this phase shall commence on date designated by the Owner and be substantially complete and ready for occupancy within 180 calendar days.
3. Phase 1C: Patient Prep Area Vestibule Room AG223. Work of this phase shall commence at the contractor’s discretion but shall be complete no later than the completion of Phase 1B. Work shall only be performed on nights and weekends.
4. Phase 2: Patient Prep 1 AG222. Work of this phase shall commence after the completion of Phase 1A and be substantially complete and ready for occupancy within 60 calendar days.
5. Phase 3: Tech Work G232 East Side. Work of this phase shall commence at the contractor’s discretion but shall be complete no later than the completion of Phase 1B. Work shall only be performed on nights and weekends.
6. Phase 4: Phase 4: Alternate finish replacements. Description. Work of this phase shall commence at the contractor’s discretion but shall be complete no later than the completion of Phase 1B. Work shall only be performed on nights and weekends.
 
The owner will supply and install the following:
1. Imaging Equipment
2. Hazardous Material Abatement
 
The owner intends to continue to occupy adjacent portions of the existing building during the entire construction period.
 
Please note the alternate prices requested in the specifications. One is for finishes replacement, the next 15 are preferred brand alternates.
