The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, the renovation of the existing park located at 10 East Hampstead Square in downtown Charleston. The work includes demolition of the existing hardscape and perimeter chain link fencing, construction of new concrete and brick walkways, concrete amphitheater with raised concrete seating, new perimeter ornamental metal fencing with masonry pier and wrought iron gates, site landscaping, automatic landscape irrigation system, drinking fountain, site lighting, benches and other site amenities as indicated.
The Owner has retained the services of a Program Manager to represent the Owner’s interest during construction.

All bids are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. Bid securities of the three low bidders will be retained until Contract award and execution.
Bids will be binding for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from the date bids are opened.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount.
Bids are to be submitted on the bid form provided, enclosed in a sealed opaque envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, contractor’s license number, identification of contract being bid and name of project. All bids must comply with the laws of the State of South Carolina.

Purchase of entire bid set includes all plans and specifications, including any addenda released at time of order. Planholders will be notified by email when future addenda are issued and it will be the responsibility of each plan holder to download the addenda. Shipping, if required, will be charged to each order.

ADDENDA DISTRIBUTION
Existing planholders will be notified by email upon the release of any addenda. Failure to order bid sets through Duncan-Parnell may prevent you from being notified of issued addenda. Printed copies of addendum will be available at no additional charge. Shipping, if required will be charged. Contact your local Duncan-Parnell office to request a printed set of addenda files.
