Sealed bids will be received by the Office of the City Engineer in the Water Resources

Administration Office at 527 NC Highway 55 West, New Bern, North Carolina, until 11:00 a.m.

on Thursday May 4th, 2023, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read, for

constructing the following facilities:

The installation of 2,005 linear feet of Cured in Place Pipe lining of 36” sanitary

sewer, as well as an approximately 2,200 linear feet by-pass pumping operation,

the rehabilitation of four (4) existing manholes, and other work associated with

the Northwest Interceptor Phase II project.

Insituform Technologies, Inc. is bidding as a general contractor on the project listed above.  We are soliciting subcontract bids from certified MBE/WBE/DBE firms in the following areas:

• Pipeline cleaning & CCTV inspection
• Manhole Rehabilitation
• Bypass pumping

Insituform Technologies, LLC will negotiate fairly with interested minorities and will not reject without sound reason.  If not selected, you may contact me to discuss the reason for rejection.

Insituform Technologies, LLC will assist or advise concerning obtaining bonding, loan capital, lines of credit, and insurance or joint pay agreements.

Insituform Technologies, LLC will be glad to discuss partnership arrangements where possible and quick pay agreements.
