Tyrrell Prison Workfarm Air Conditioning Installation

Project Scope:

• The scope of this project is to install air conditioning to the existing Prison Work Farm.
• Installation of air cooled chillers, pumps, chilled water piping, air handling units, controls, etc.
• Construction of a small new building to house the chilled water pumps and accessories.
• Supporting general and electrical support needed for the HVAC installation.

Work shall be substantially complete on or before 365 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.

Sealed bids will be received by the NC Department of Adult Correction up to 1:00pm on Wednesday, May 24^th, 2023 and opened in person at the Central Engineering Large Conference Room located at 2020 Yonkers Road, Raleigh, NC  27699.

No emailed or faxed bids will be accepted.

Mandatory Pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, April 26^th, 2023 at 11:00am on site at 620 Snell Road, Columbia, NC  27925.

Please meet at the front entrance and we will all travel around together as a group.
